Glow Rush

Glow Rush was a week-long event held by University Recreation kicked off by RecFest.

The events were pre-existing and were going to happen on their own. I pitched the idea to combine the events into one campaign under the name GlowRush, as a neon 90’s inspired theme. The events began the day after RecFest and there was one a day meaning promotions needed to be created for 5 separate events with a common brand identity.

My solution was to create an icon for each day and give it its own neon color. That color would then be used for individual event signage, but combined when promoting the week as a whole as seen in the GlowRush logo.

The daily icons were used on the back of the RecFest t-shirt to tie the two events together.

This was the largest project I have tackled, doing so solo. There were over 60 assets, including two t-shirts, stickers, digital signage, and print. The events were a huge success seeing record numbers.

Group Fitness Sampler

As a part of GlowRush, a group fitness sampler was held as one of the events. Patrons were able to attend shortened group fitness classes to sample what is offered. I created the event logo along with this image to be put on the client’s clothing of choice. The “let’s get physical” was cleared and used as a tie to the 90’s glow theme. The final product was a tank top that was given out to patrons who completed at least two classes.

The client used the design again in the color yellow for the spring group fitness sampler in a t-shirt version.
